Wow, nice bump for Matilda! They haven't been in the million-club since mid-August.

Also, it really irks me to see shows like Misery and Gin Game pulling in relatively low numbers and still not offer a rush.

Finding Neverland too hadn't made over a million since the end of August.

THE ILLUSIONISTS is only filling half of their houses, but still pulling in over $800,000. That's impressive

Honestly don't see how Allegiance can stay open past the holidays if it can't even make over half a million during a holiday week. Same goes for Lord of Dance and they are a limited run

Phantom normally comes back far stronger on Thanksgiving weekend. It still grossed over a million, but an 80% capacity is not good.

Lord Of The Dance is turning into a death dirge. It may not even make it until January. It is on every site in the civilized world. People are not buying it - pure and simple.

Well one ALW show has to make way for the new ALW show.

doubt Phantom is going anywhere - even at 80% attendance.  Lots and lots of options on broadway this week - as well as Radio City, Elf... tourists probably think "we'll see that next time"

Does this really come to a surprise to anyone, though? This thing was DOA from the very first announcement if you ask me.

Based on the attached charts, 2015 is likely to be Phantom's 4th highest grossing year ever, so we don't need to worry about it quite yet.

Phantom is never leaving. The more and more years makes it stronger. There has to be some disaster for it close.

I appoligise for any spelling mistakes. I may be on my mobile. Clumsy fingers and small little touchscreen keys don't mixx. I try to spellcheck, but I may miss something.

Phantom was regularly down in the 700s and 600s last year (even into the 500s at one point). I'm sure it will be fine.

It seems that NeNe Leakes is having a positive effect on Chicago's box office.

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

even though Thanksgiving weekend usually packs in the theaters, nobody wants to see DAMES AT SEA. Such a shame.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I feel bad for the strong casts at Sylvia and Dames at Sea doing their best with what they've been given. Spring Awakening and Therese Raquin both have their flaws but they're both definitely worth seeing.

I'm curious about how Something Rotten will do as the original cast begins to leave.

Allegiance is going on fumes now, unfortunately.

Jeez, even in a holiday week, the shows that are doing bad continue to go down. DAMES is a lost cause at this point, I feel bad for the talented company because no one is coming! I thought Ashford and Broderick would be bigger draws, because no one's going to SYLVIA either, seemingly. SPRING AWAKENING wanted to be the snob hit of the season ala Once or Next to Normal, but no one wants to see IT either. I think THERESE RAQUIN would do better if they would advertise Knightley and if people could say the play's name.

On a happy note, good for LES MIS and MATILDA for really pulling them in this week! I was a bit scared for both of them, but I guess it was just a short slump. Even though no one's pulling in as much as the big five (Lion King/Hamilton/Wicked/Book of Mormon/Aladdin), it's nice to see that this season is producing hits in SCHOOL OF ROCK, ON YOUR FEET!, and FIDDLER, along with AMERICAN IN PARIS from last season. FUN HOME may have not grossed as much as some of the other shows, but it's getting 91.1 of it's gross potential which is MUCH more than most of the shows running. I'm happy that a small, intimate musical with dark subject matter could be a hit!

I'm shocked by NEVERLAND still being successful with a lack of Tony nominations, a cast with some theatre stars but no real big name ones, and universal pans!
