I was wondering if anybody else noticed that Chiffon barely sings big chunks on her own. I know they changed this is subsequent productions (like the Broadway revival) but I was wondering why. I loved the other urchins as well but I want to hear more of Chiffon

I explained more in this video but that's my main question. Anybody know why?

I really doubt it was a conscious decision. They're minor characters that typically operate as a unit.

I just would of thought that they would share the roles out rather than have Ronette have loads to sing with Chiffon barely having any. And I don't think they're minor as they're in nearly every song singing pretty much all the harmonies

Methinks this is a casting grudge in a school production, wrong board. Choose the school board. If not, I am also confused about it. I thought trios were supposed to share.

I appoligise for any spelling mistakes. I may be on my mobile. Clumsy fingers and small little touchscreen keys don't mixx. I try to spellcheck, but I may miss something.

Minor in that they don't effect anything.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
