Anyone see this yet at The Public? Nearly every show is sold out and the whole cast is 9-14 y/o, and they perform behind a one-way mirror, so they never see the audience until they come out and bow at the end. During the show, the cast ages until they are elderly to examine their lives... and the choices they made.

Thought it was well done, and had a lot of nice moments, and an intriguing setup. The cast also seemed to do a really good job with the material.

Which theater is it in? Seems like the Public has a lot going on right now.

That seems unlikely since it's on TDF for many performances.

Hmm, I was going by the member services guy at the Public who told me that when I switched seats to a different performance, heh.

Oh, and it is only on TDF for Halloween weekend, like the majority of shows up there.

I wish I saw this earlier to report how wonderful and moving this show was.

I rushed tonight's final performance and all I can simply say is... "wow".

The Gob Squad really pulled some amazing work from these children. The use of the previous recordings and the dual screens was very simple, but effective. (So were the song choices.) The children (Team 1) were all truly invested in the piece and really moved me, especially within the first twenty minutes. My friend and I both remarked, after the performance, that we both had chills throughout the entire piece.

This was my first exposure to the Gob Squad (and my first time in the beautiful Public!). I cannot wait to see what else they can do. I wish this was still running so I could tell you all to run and see it. I do hope more members saw this than those above!
