Just wondering if anyone's heard any news of productions rumoured to be making their way onto Broadway in the 2015-16 season that haven't been officially announced yet? Theatre's they're likely to go into too?
There doesn't seem to be a timeline yet, but someone on the Internet who interviewed Patti LuPone at the Les Mis 30th Anniversary gala said that she said War Paint was going to Chicago and then New York. I really doubt it'll make it for this season, but stranger things have happened.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

I pray that happens soon; though, I agree that this season is unlikely. Was Donna Murphy the other name attached? I wonder if she's still involved.
Robbie2, are you just hoping/speculating, or have you actually heard anything about Grounded going into the Booth?
Interestingly, there are actually a fair number of open theatres for the Spring. We've got:
Nederlander (fall and Spring - after 10/25) Lyceum (after 2/21) Simon (after 1/3) Booth (after 1/3) Cort (after 1/24)
Possible availabilities: Hayes (depending on DAS's success) Longacre (depending on Allegiance's success) Marquis (depending on OYF's success)
...with 2 of the above going to Hughie and Bright Star. So theoretically, we could see as many as 8 more shows added to the season, if they can all get funding. I hope Amelie does manage to get in, though I they'll need to work on the show between runs.
EDITED after the announcements of Bright Star and Eclipsed
Oh interesting. I can't seem to find a closing date for Sylvia on IBDB or the show's website. Are you sure they aren't just selling tickets until January 24th?
Must have missed the announcement on Lord of the Dance. Will edit.
"Has the Miss Saigon transfer gotten a theatre yet????" Miss Saigon is going to be a part of the 16/17 season and will probably replace LES MIZ at the Imperial.
I really hope a few more new musicals get added to the season.
Waterfall has been playing at the 5th Ave in Seattle and the reviews seem to be good. They are advertising it by saying "Don't miss this production before it heads to Broadway". If they keep workin on it, it could be Coming to Broadway

Just look up more websites that have information on this."
After more searching, I did find a few websites that listed January 24th as the closing date, but also found trustworthy websites (including IBDB) that didn't list any closing date at all, which is odd.
