Thanks for the links for Javier! I was under the impression the year contract was for the bway run and separate from the prior run/workshops. Maybe ensemble had different terms?

They are separate. That doesn't mean that the management isn't willing to let peeps out of their contracts early. Happens all the time.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I'm very excited about the announcement that Hamilton will go to the White House. I hope lots of video clips will be produced by this event. But the tickets will be even further more difficult to get, I bet.

The schedule that Javi posted on Twitter differs slightly from the schedule on the Hamilton website. The Hamilton site has him as Hamilton on Sundays in June, not Saturdays:

Sunday June 5 @ 3:00pm
Sunday June 12 @ 2:00pm (Tony Sunday)
Sunday June 19 @ 3:00pm
Sunday June 26 @ 3:00pm
Sunday July 3 @ 3:00pm

Ok, at the end of May, Hamilton goes back to Sunday matinee and dark on Mondays. I assume in that case Javilton will be on Sunday matinee again.

Anyone have any info on the stage door lately? My windowcard is missing signatures from Oak and Anthony Ramos and I'd love to get them this week. I'm seeing Eclipsed and could pop over to the Richard Rodgers after. But from the little I've read here they seem to be among the two who come out least. I know it's always a crap shoot but figured I would ask. Thanks!

Two friends of mine from out of town stage doored last night. They got Daveed, Chris, Renee, and Thayne. I think that's it. They saw Leslie, Anthony, and Jasmine leave quickly.

Just an update on the Javier/Lin scheduling...

The Hamilton website still only lists Javi's scheduled dates through July 3. Broadway.com, however, currently lists the following: "Javier Munoz plays the role of Hamilton at Sunday matinees through March 27, 2016. He will play the role of Hamilton at Saturday matinees from March 28 - September 3, 2016."

July 3 or September 3. Sooo...

Javier isn't scheduled for those nights though -- he's on for 3/27 - 3/30 and then both shows on 4/2. So, it will either be Lin or Jon, depending on if Lin takes a full week of vacation.

I thought the White House performance was really great, it's so exciting that the show will reach audiences of young people who wouldn't ordinarily be able to see it or even care about that period of history.

However, did anybody see Lin's freestyle? He can normally do no wrong but sadly it was subpar. Obviously worth watching though, particularly for Obama's patter.
