I remember seeing something that Tim Burton was remaking Mary Poppins starring Cate Blanchett... was this true? Any recent updates?

Interesting.

 

Out of all the reboots Disney has been doing, this one is certainly ripe for a new audience.

 

I realize it may not even be Disney at all though.
