Curious as to whether or not anyone can shine on light as to what the view is like from the front row of the Mezzanine at the Brooks Atkinson? I've only sat in the Orchestra. Is it a low overhang? Close to the stage? I cant find any pics. Any and all insight GREATLY appreciated!
I'm curious about seating in this theatre too. Trying to decide between the side orchestra seats or back of the front mezzanine for Spring Awakening. Does this theatre have less leg room in the mezzanine?
This mezzanine has some of the best seats in the house. Full view of the stage and you're pretty close. I would totally recommend the mezz over the orchestra.
I'm looking for info on this too - is the view measurably better from the front row of the front mezzanine (row a) as opposed to the front row of the back mezzanine (row e)? Trying to decide if it's worth the extra $40 per ticket...

I'm looking at Waitress tix and was wondering what people would recommend. I'm 5'11 so sight lines aren't always an issue. Do I go front row of the mezzo or middle of the orchestra...or as others have asked, go front row of the rear mezz?
I sat in the second last row of the mezzanine on the right on the aisle for Spring Awakening. In the last row there are seats that are on the aisle so someone with long legs can stretch out. It's a small theatre so the view is great from there.
I ended up buying a ticket for Waitress using the Audience rewards presale code. Got a ticket for the day after Tony nominations come out. Smack dab in the middle of the front row of the mezzanine. Looks like tickets are selling well with the first rows going for premium. Was happy with my ticket location so figured I would spend full price as I love Jessie Mueller and am really looking forward to this show.
How is the legroom between the front of your seat and the seat back in front of you? I sat in the mezzanine for Hamilton at the Richard Rodgers and was in severe pain all night due an arthritic knee and four inches (I measured) of space as described.
