Next WICKED Cast

I've seen the tour a few times while it has been in Philly and the cast is very strong. Jessica Vosk is an incredible Elphaba and I love Ginna Claire Mason's Glinda. The supporting cast will be adjusting a little bit in the next few weeks (Robin DeJesus just left, Sam Seferian returns as Boq tomorrow evening while Jeremy Woodard (Fiyero) and Fred Applegate (The Wizard) will depart 8/20 with Woodard's replacement not known and Tom McGowan joining as the Wizard). That all being said, I definitely feel like the entire company is extremely strong and I definitely feel like the ensemble is much stronger with the tour than on Broadway.

I'm actually interested in the new Elphaba standby that is starting in Mid-August after Emily leaves.  Are you planning on seeing it anymore?

The new stand-by, Chelsea Emma Franco, has a big voice. She was an Elsa at the Frozen show at Disneyland, so there's a lot of her posted online.

I saw it last night-and I was blown away by Jackie. Amanda was ok-she seemed to have trouble hitting some of the difficult notes.

I loved seeing Jackie but yes the rest of the cast was just ok. But I only paid 35 for the tickets since I won the lottery so overall I was happy seeing it.

Yep, I saw her approximately a million times at Disneyland, which is why I'm excited to hear her in this.  She is beyond amazing.  The tour isn't coming anywhere near CA right now, so I'm hoping for some people here to see her performance and report back.

ashley - I am planning on seeing the show again and am definitely interested in Chelsea. According to her Twitter, she's started rehearsals today, so we'll see if she'll go on here or not during that last week. Emily Schultheis (the current standby) leaves on 8/20, so Chelsea may or may not make her debut here or during the next tour stop.

That's the way her hat is supposed to be. It wasn't broke or anything.
