Did anyone try for Standing Room tix today? Anyone trying tomorrow? I'll be in the city Thursday & I'm wondering if it's even worth trying given that I can't get to the box office until noon or so.

It's not an 100% accurate depiction but checking Telecharge for Thursday's performance will give you a pretty good idea of how well the performance is sold (it's probably already sold out) and whether or not they will offer SRO for that day as soon as the box office opens vs. if there are a few more seats to sell before it gets offered, meaning they'll offer it a bit later in the day.

Thanks. It's already sold out, I should have mentioned that. Wondering if folks will actually be lined up for SRO at 10.

Yesterday I had a workshop in the city from 10-3, so at 3:10 (after losing the lottery) I ran over to check if there was standing room left. She said that they will sell them when the box office opens if the performance is sold out, which she said many for the upcoming weeks are.

I was seated when I saw it two weeks ago but the standing-room people were standing behind me. It's hard to imagine there's a more intimate standing room experience on Broadway. I'd totally go for them if I see the show again.

I did standing room at Circle in the Square for Spelling Bee, and it was incredibly comfortable. Gonna have to go back for Fun Home (which I already saw in previews, but want to experience again!).

Be advised: At many performances, you can sit in the last two rows of the orchestra (not sides), J and K I believe, for $75.  Good deal in that house.  You can see the whole stage, which I believe serves.

$30. It was so worth it. That is maybe the most comfortable standing room experience in any theatre.

I stood for "Fun Home" about a month ago. I agree with the other posters that it's an extremely comfortable standing room experience as they go, and that the view is spectacular. It's easily worth the $30!

I stopped by yesterday to ask about them and the guy at the box office said they go very fast. I got there around noon and all standing room was gone for both performances except one returned  for the matinee.

The standing room for Fun Home is probably the best deal on Broadway right now.

I did standing room at yesterday's matinee. We were about 12th and 13th in line and got there at 8:45am. Most people in front of us wanted evening tickets. I believe we were the first two to get standing room for the matinee. We got spots 1 and 3 and it was a perfect view.

Was at the box office today. The last dates you can use the discount codes (Theatremania and others) is the July 4th weekend. Both matinees, the 4th and 5th, have seats (I got great ones for Saturday the 4th), at that 35% reduction. When the 4th falls on a weekend, you can often get terrific seats on B'way; this time, you can even use the last gasp of codes -- for a now whopping hit (the woman in front of me couldn't get Saturday even seats that she liked until August 22). Unless Michael Cerveris is singing the national anthem at a Yankees game, this is a steal.

I was on the odd numbered side in spot #1. I counted at least 20 people I could see standing across the theatre on the even side. I think there were a few less, maybe 15, on the side I was on but I could not see anyone who wasn't right beside me to count.

I was thinking about trying to grab a SRO ticket on Wednesday while I'm in the city but I probably wouldn't be able to get there until around noon or so. I'm assuming that will be too late? Ugh, I want to see this show for a third time so badly.

Do they only sell SRO tickets for the same day? Lets say the performance of the day after is sold out, will they sell SRO tickets that day?
