Usdan - tell your parents to go to arts camp!: the 7/17 "Usdan University"

"Usdan University," the 12th edition of the fun and popular adults-only one-day arts camp at Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts, will be presented on Friday July 17 at the Long Island Center.  Created out of requests by parents and alumni to "be 13 again" and "have something for me, too," Usdan Center, the renowned summer arts day camp (alumni include Natalie Portman, Mariah Carey, Jane Monheit, Jackie Hoffman, many more) developed a special program.  The day starts with morning coffee and doughnuts at 9 AM, then a choice of classes in music, dance, theater, visual arts, organic cooking and gardening, then lunch and a concert, then a choice of afternoon activities in nature walk, yoga, archery or chorus -- and at the end, everyone gets ice cream and a diploma!

 

The event is at the 200-acre woodland campus of Usdan Center, 185 Colonial Springs Road in Wheatley Heights (Huntington), Long Island.
