where to buy Theatre Posters ?

Gypsy has started to sell posters now - of course after I saw the show but they do mention plans for a online shop ( or even better I go and see it again if they don't keep putting the prices up)

I did see some great new Les Mis 30 years on and even the new Mamma Mia posters on the underground but it seems harder than ever to get current shows posters

 

Ebay can be very random in what is available  - Dress Circle has a few but again the main initial shows  - anyone got any current sources/sites which sell posters

A few years ago, the folks at Dress Circle sent me to a poster seller located in Alfie's Antiques.  The last time I stopped in a few years back, he was considering closing or moving as the rent had become quite high.  You might check with the folks at Dress Circle and see if they know where he or other poster shops are now located.  He had an amazing selection of posters and I never visited and didn't spend 60-100.  Wish I had wall space to display them all.

He has closed down and retired. There is a place called David Drummond in Cecil Court but they are very expensive there. Apart from that online is about the only option. Ebay is the best bet and some interesting ones come up but you need to keep looking there.

Hi there.  I have been known to pop into shops/ cafes around the West End which often have posters on their walls and ask if they have any old ones/ spare ones I could take.  I most recently got Miss Saigon, Memphis, Forbidden Broadway, Shakespeare In Love.  Also there is a ticket seller in Leicester Square that also sells posters of present productions.  Otherwise, go to e-bay, Amazon marketplace or Dress Circle on-line.
