She's closer to 60 than 50 at this point. Far too old for the roles in IF/THEN, and otherwise, they're not exactly roles that would play to her strengths.
I've long thought Mullally could be a credible choice for a revival of DEAR WORLD, personally. I could also see her in roles like Mame, Dolly, or Mrs. Lovett.
She's the rare Hollywood name who could sing Sally's material in a film adaptation of Follies but I'm sure Rob starfu€£er Marshal will have Meryl warbling her way through In Buddy's Eyes.
