WOW!!! This is going to be a tough ticket this coming season.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

She's sooo amazing on ORANGE, I can only imagine what she will bring to Sofia. I think that a trip to NYC may be in order.

So very excited to see her on Broadway, and so happy she's handling Sofia instead of Jennifer. I had no idea she's pretty fresh out of Julliard, so this is certainly no star casting - she's got the chops!

I'm pretty sure that OITNB films over the summer. I remember Laverne Cox mentioning that they finished season 3 this past summer/fall 2014.

ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK typically films from July to January, but Brooks already said in the Variety piece announcing her casting today that the show will be working around her Broadway schedule so she can do both simultaneously.
Truly phenomenal casting.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
