For the Minskoff theater, is it better to sit in the rear orchestra (like Row Z in the side section) or in the front mezzanine in those seats all the way to the side (like Row EE). Any thoughts/insights on which view is better there?
I haven't seen the show since it moved to the Minskoff, but having seen it previously from balcony and orchestra seats I personally prefer being higher up for The Lion King. The overall effect of the staging is so much better when taken in from a bit more of a distance and being able to observe the entire picture easier than from being up close, in my opinion.
