Is The Visit an Open-Ended Run?

I was just looking into buying tickets to see it and the Theatremania website stated that it will close September 6th, 2015. I thought it was announced as an open-ended run and that Oprah wanted to take the role on after Chita. Is this really when it is closing or just how long tickets are on sale?

I would guess that is when they on sale until. Hopefully, it will make until than and beyond.

Lol Oprah was looking at the original play, but decided that it's too dark.
