Shocked to see Cariani from SOMETHING ROTTEN petitioned to Leading Actor, where his chances for a nomination just plummeted. I assumed they'd bump Borle up to Leading as to not have 3 men (Oscar, Borle & Cariani) in Featured.
The FUN HOME ladies went just as most of us expected. Malone will nab a (deserved) nomination, and hopefully Kuhn wins Featured (or Lucas).
Other than that nothing really shocking.

Really glad to hear that Geneva Carr and Beth Malone will be considered leading. I really want John Cariani to snag a nomination, and I thought he might have had a better chance in featured, but I suppose it's better to put him in a the most fitting category.
That's a poor choice to have Cariani in Leading Actor- I thought his work was a highlight, but I don't think he'll make it into an very competitive race unless the voters really love Something Rotten!.
Is Hilary Mantel listed as a co-author in the billing for Wolf Hall? I assumed she had nothing to do with the adaptation, so I'm surprised to see her listed here.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
Lisa Howard is billed above the title, and will be the only potential Leading Actress nominee from IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU.

If they had to petition Judy Kuhn DOWN to Featured, I assume Cerveris is billed with her above the title. So (I think...) he's competing in the Leading Actor category!

Tag, it was time for a projections Tony back in 1994 - Kiss of the Spider Woman vs Tommy - and both better than a lot of the projections around today (I'm looking at you, On the Town!)
