I'm looking for rush updates on several shows, and figured I'd start a new thread in order to avoid posting in each separate thread for the few shows I'm looking for.

Beautiful; The Heidi Chronicles; Finding Neverland; An American In Paris; Airline Highway; Dr. Zhivago.

Has anyone rushed any of these recently, and could you let me know what time you got there to successfully score a seat? I haven't rushed a show in a while and may have a free afternoon on Saturday. Thanks!

I got to Heidi Chronicles about 20 minutes before the box office opened this morning and was third in line.

You can walk up to Zhivago an hour before curtain and get in.

How was your seat for Heidi Chronicles, starcatcher?

Not bad! They're in the front row, the stage is kind of high (which is a problem for me at 5 feet tall), but you can see everything.

Thanks, guys!

Can any others weigh in on the shows I listed above? Heidi and Zhivago seem simple enough.

I rushed AN AMERICAN IN PARIS the other night.  Arrived at the box office at 6:30 p.m. (7 pm curtain), and got the last rush ticket.  First row balcony, left side, two seats in from aisle, perfect view, totally unobstructed.  (Aisle seat is a different story--it's so blocked that the person sitting next to me changed seats to one farther back.)

I walk by Beautiful every week day and see about 3-5 people waiting for rush seats. Number people have gone down dramatically after Mueller left the show. Used to be ~20 by 9am. Sorry can't speak for weekends!

I guess it was about a month ago that I got a rush ticket for Beautiful around 3pm.

OK, I know FUN HOME doesn't have a rush, just the digital lottery.  But I can't find any info as to whether it sells standing room for sold-out shows.  Does anyone know?  And if it is offered, how much?  Thanks.

I rushed Heidi yesterday at 6:15 for a 7:30 show, I was in the front row all the way to side. I had to cran my neck a bit because the stage is so high, but it was fine overall.

I've seen FUN HOME twice, and both times there were standees (about ten people at each performance). So it appears that they do sell standing room, but I couldn't tell you how much.

My friend and I are going to try and rush OTTC tomorrow, so I will let this thread know.

Thanks for the info about American in Paris… I think that might be the other show I want to take my mother to!

Very curious about the OTTC weekend rush! Although Kristin might still be out, which would make rush much easier than normally...

A friend got half off a box seat at OTTC the other day ~30 min before on a Tuesday. She wasn't sure if they gave her a SR ticket without checking ID (she's mid 20s but no longer a student), or just wanted to sell the seat... They seem to be a bit moody at that box office. A few weeks prior a student asked to if they could buy 2 instead of 1 SR tickets on her ID, literally 5 minutes before curtain, and they said no and ended up having 2 empty seats instead of making $80...

Rush seats for Beautiful used to be LST type of the mezz, great view though. Did this change when Jessie left?

Tried to rush OTTC. Got there around ten and there were about 10-12 people in line. All left because Cheno is out today. We saw her already though and want to see Mamie so he said come back in an hour because they couldnt sell rush tickets before the cancellations came in.  So we're going back for them at 11!

UPDATE: We bought four rush tickets for the matinee answer are in row D in the orchestra!

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
