Sisters are back in town this weekend to deal with house stuff (I think for the final time).

Heya, kiddles!  Halloween was a bust on my street.  I had one, ONE little girl about 7 or 8.  According to postings on a few of the community pages, folks were seeing upwards of 80-100 kids!  I definitely don't want that many, but I sure would've loved some more coming by!!

I love that I live in a kid free hood. A friend in a small town in NC had over 800 kids. He lives on THE street in said small town. Ack.

We were not home until 6:30 and we had 20 - very courteous and cute.

We have high of 70 here today?

We went out to dinner and didn't get home until 8:45pm. Yes, I planned it that way - so sue me. As we pulled up to the house, a large group of teens - not a single on in costume - was making the rounds. We stayed in the car until they passed by. Not my favorite holiday.

I just made edits to a cover letter and resume that was put together by an "expert" from the company that my former company has on contract for transition "help".  Mind you, when filling out the numerous tabs on my profile to "help" in this exercise, one vital results piece did not make it onto my resume.  Why, if you're not going to use the information, are you forcing me to input it.  When filling out that whole thing, you couldn't proceed to the next tab until the current one was complete.  You guys had to hear me that day.  I'm surprised you didn't.  When I thought I was done, it opened up a whole new slew of questions.  I was livid.  It took me hours to complete.  So to not have some of that info reflected, pisses me off.  And in  my email back with the attachments, I made sure to mention info I input during that "rigorous" enrollment and said that I assume she has access to it and to please include it.

We had about 20.  A perfect number. I live in a gated complex, so there are not that many, so I give out full sized bars - the kids were whooping with joy when they got them!

I'm not sure if my former company has to pay more if someone actually uses them.  I'm hoping so.

My friend lives in a development where she always goes through at least 100 bars of candy, sometimes a bit more.  She always gives out full size ones.  I don't know how she did this year with kids.

Happy Tuesday, folks! Rainy and cool, but one day closer to the weekend! We had Open house here on Sunday so I ended up working both Saturday and Sunday so SOMEONE owes me a weekend!

Oh, it seems an age since I last joined my favourite adults.  Work has been a little hectic with publications that need reading, researching, writing, editing, something, an end-of-year function that required planning and people popping in to request strange things such as wanting to place a stained-glass window they created into an internal wall - an internal REINFORCED CONCRETE wall.  Yikes! At least the team had on-field success again.  Yes, a three-peat, a trilogy, a veritable happiness factory! Silverware's gleam can outshine any grumbling worker bee.

Very funny story!  The old adults have abandoned us!  Boobs is in prison so we will not here from him for many years.  Addy is now living in France and D2 opened a coffee shop in Wisilla, Alaska.  Mooney quit her job and has opened a center for former BWW addicts.
