Apologies if this has been answered already but does anyone know what the TodayTix policy is if you enter for two lottery tickets, win, but then only want to buy one ticket?

You only buy one.....or buy both and offer the other one here on the boards, I'm sure you'll get a taker.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
I've been in this situation and it's actually not so simple. There's no simple option on the app to choose to accept 1 or 2 if you've originally selected 2.
I found a phone number somewhere online for TodayTix and called (was pretty hard to find the number actually, wishing I had saved it). They were very nice about it once I tracked them down. I believe I had to accept both tickets on the app, and the representative issued a refund to my card for one of the tickets. It all worked out eventually.
Can you enter the lottery for more than one show per night? I want to see Grounded and Fun Home, but I know the chances are slim, so I want to enter both.
If not, say a friend enters Grounded and I enter Fun Home and we both somehow win, is it easy to opt out of one of the lotteries?
Yes you can enter as many as you want. They do not automatically charge you, so if you are passing on one, you simply do not confirm.

Also, I believe there's a way to turn down the tickets, to release them for someone else to win. At least, that's what I remember when I won the On the Town lotto.
Another question in the same vein... If you've already won the lottery for a show (Fun Home, specifically) can you enter the lottery again to win for a performance on a different date?
Basically, can you win for the same show more than once?
I don't even know why I downloaded the iPad app...because they let you know like 3 hours before curtain if you won. It takes me that long to get to Manhattan from Staten Island. Sigh. As Tim Gunn says: "Make it work."

Yes, you can win more than once. Some people on these boards have won Fun Home a few times, if I recall.
Has anyone here EVER won a single ticket using the Today's Tix app lottery and selecting the single ticket option. After several months of working with this app, I have reluctantly concluded the algorithm very much favors those who enter looking to buy pairs.

I actually just won a single ticket today! I've been entering for about 6 months 3-4 times a week and finally won for the first time today. Typically if it's for a 7PM show I go in for one ticket, an 8PM show I'll go in for in for two. So either I'm unlucky by never winning with 2 tickets or it's just really hard to win on TodayTix.
