Hi guys,

Has anyone seen this show? The description peaked my interest when it was playing at another theatre downtown but I didn't get the chance to see it. I think I might have spotted it on the TKTS board the other day which seems a bit unusual for a show located that far downtown. Anyway... any opinions? Has anyone seen both incarnations of the play? Has it changed at all?

I saw this the Saturday before last (28/3) with Sarah Florence Fellini. It was interesting enough and polished and competently done, without really blowing me away. That said, I acknowledge a personal bias, which is I don't find one person shows, which rely more on internal conflict, as compelling as plays with multiple actors and where there is immediate direct conflict in dialogue with another. I am seeing Grounded on Wednesday so maybe that will change my view.

But overall, if you can get a ticket for The Other Mozart at TKTS for $25 I'd say it's worth seeing.

One word of caution. A group of us were standing outside the main entrance for about twenty minutes waiting for the doors to open before someone decided to try the small door next to the theatre that led to some Improv Studio. Turned out that was the entrance we needed to use.

Thanks for sharing your opinion and that advice, mordav! I also don't know how much I'll enjoy a one person play but the subject is interesting to me, especially with all the research that was apparently done to write the play.

Just curious if anyone else has seen the play.
