Usdan 4/19 Open House; Free NYC art exhibits

Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts, the renowned summer arts camp (alumni include Olivia Thirlby, currently featured in the new film "5 to 7", Natalie Portman, Mariah Carey, Jane Monheit, Jackie Hoffman, many more) will hold a free Open House on Sunday April 19 at 11 AM to 2 PM.  Tour the magnificent 200-acre woodland campus on Long Island (transportation is a daily air-conditioned bus) and check out the new programs:  combined dance styles (like jazz/ballet) and hip hop, plus a diverse theater program.  Enjoy on-site performances by world-acclaimed performers and casts of current Broadway shows.  Usdan's 48th season begins Monday June 29, and you can do 3, 4 or 7-week programs. 

The work of many of Usdan's visual art students are currently on display in the lobby gallery at 430 Park Avenue in Manhattan (between 55th and 56th Streets) through April 30.
