Weinstein, the driving force behind Finding Neverland, has been accused of unwanted sexual advances by a 22 year model in his NYC office last Friday night .
I just heard this on the news. Reidel will have a field day with this. I just googled his name and this story is all over the place.
Anything to bring down a Harvey Weinstein show, right? I actually think it's a bit disgusting how everyone is trying to make this show fail. If Weinstein wasn't producing, I doubt I would see half the BS about it on here.
Countdown til Jordan comes on raging about how much loves me! 3..2..1...
It's tough to hold onto a Sprite when you've changed your screen name so many times here to shadow the fact that you're arguably the worst troll this site has ever had to endure. Oh, but I forgot. It's been a week since your last screen name so you're "good" now and we should all just forget about it.
So they met at Radio City, exchanged emails addresses, she then showed up at his office and now she's crying foul. Sounds like a setup to me. She'd have more credibility if she released her name like the Cosby accusers have. At this point I could imagine she's a chorus girl who didn't get cast in Neverland.
Oh, it was HIS office at the Tribeca Film Center. Gee, Roxy, the little details make all the difference. Or maybe you were being an old queen and using female pronouns for him.
Like this will not be all over the papers in an instant
If this were someone else, everybody would be on the bandwagon. Personally, I do not care. Mrs R is not thrilled with the show due to Kelsey G being in it due to the way he treated his latest ex wife . We were not rushing to see it anyway so this has no effect on our seeing it, one way or the other.
There must be conflict Chez Rocksy. The Mr loves other Republicans but the Mrs hates spouse abusers. But there is no other low-rung musical to see this season. They're certainly not going to Fun Home, which the Mr thinks is hype and doesn't understand why.
"unwanted sexual advances" So ambiguous. How does one know if it is unwanted unless you actually hit on the person. It's only a problem if after she said no, he kept pursuing her.
Even then...just hitting on someone shouldn't be a crime.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

This could be real or like when all those "accusations" came Bryan Singer's way before "X-Men: Days of Future Past" came out....a load of bull.
Butters, go buy World of Warcraft, install it on your computer, and join the online sensation before we all murder you.

ATTENTION FANS: I will be played by James Barbour in the upcoming musical, "BroadwayWorld: The Musical."
"It's only a problem if after she said no, he kept pursuing her. Even then...just hitting on someone shouldn't be a crime."
He wasn't just hitting on her. He allegedly groped her. And it's not a problem only AFTER if she said no. You can't go around touching people expecting it to be okay just because they didn't say "no" as soon as they saw you.
I don't blame her for not releasing her name seeing as how some people are already accusing her of lying (which may or may not be the case… obviously). It makes me sad seeing people already put down this girl when more than 60% of sexual assault cases get unreported. Gee, wonder why.
Whether it was a grope or whatever, sexual harassment is not something to joke about or take lightly in any kind of case.
I know I'm being a stick in the mud but it's actually a little scary for me (as a young female) to sit back and watch the news and continually see these things about sexual harassment, rape, etc. and learn how many cases go unreported and how our society and law enforcement sometimes mishandles these cases.
My comments were strictly based on the OP's statement. Nothing more, nothing less.
Yes, everything else you say is true, but, sadly, women that make up or exaggerate stories are just as much to blame for many of the struggles real victems face. I'm not saying that's the case here...I certainly wouldn't know. I don't think its any better to just assume he's guilty.

I think it really sucks when women falsely accuse people of sexual assault because then real victims are not taken as seriously, but the fact remains that it is far more likely for a person to experience sexual assault than to be falsely accused.
