Oh my goodness I am so excited at this announcement! The cast is perfect, AND I might actually be able to go (never been to Paper Mill before). Thoughts? How fast do tickets usually sell for their productions?

This cast is incredible!!! Christine Ebersole belongs back in a new musical. And it's a perfect role for her!

I'm so pumped for this. It's really a great movie with a lot of wonderful musical potential, and that cast is to die for.

I'm guessing that Sierra Boggess will not be continuing with the show. I can see Snyder more as Prince Henry more than Jeremy Jordan. The rest of cast is excellent.

She's in It Shoulda Been You. Even if that flops and closes super fast, it'd probably be too late for her to continue with Ever After.

I don't know if I see the cast in these roles but then it's the musical version and not the movie so I don't know what the characters in the show are like. They're amazing performers though and this is the most I've ever wanted to go to New Jersey. I'm not going to get there without a car though so we'll see if I can find a way to see this production. If anyone is definitely going, PLEASE report back.

I remember hearing in the fall that Seibert was up for Cinderella, but I assumed it was for the off-Broadway Into the Woods revival. Good for her, she is a great talent.

this cast has Broadway transfer written all over it. Could two Papermill shows transfer to Broadway for the 2015-16 season??

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

If you're a fellow New Yorker, just take the NJ Transit train from Penn Station to Millburn (the theatre is a 5 min walk from Millburn station), it's so easy and only like $8 each way! :)

What other show has the possibility of transferring? HUNCHBACK? It doesn't have the same swell of support that NEWSIES did. I wonder if it will try to come to NYC or go on tour.

And anything is possible.. Williamstown Theatre Festival is having 3 Broadway shows open this season

Ever After has been Broadway bound for quite sometime now. It was supposed to have it's out of town tryout at the curran theatre in San Francisco back in 2008 or was it 2009? This will make it to Broadway.

I'm so excited for this! This has been aiming for a Broadway run since 2005. I trust it will be good!

Yep, SF was supposed to be April 2009. http://www.playbill.com/news/article/pre-broadway-tryout-of-ever-after-and-tour-of-august-to-be-part-of-san-fran-150810

I'm sure I'd get lost. Want to come with me? We can discuss the finer points of ABBA on the way there.

It's not that bad. If you don't have Google Maps, there are plenty of signs directing you to the theatre!

Millburn is a nice, small, safe town, you'd have no problem getting there trust me! Plus, you would probably see a lot of people walking to the theatre anyway :)

Tons of people go to the theater from the train and vice versa. However, when the final number is done make sure to grab your things and try to get out quicky. Sometimes getting out of the theater can take 5-10 and you could miss your train back.

I have no nternational sense of direction. I get lost at my place of work. I live in an area without major public transport and I was able to figure out how to get from the city to Papermill for an evening. The nice people of Millburn put up signs and directions on how to get from the train station to the theater as quickly as possible--they know what the big draw of their community is :)

And as a side note, it felt very safe walking back at night to the station. Other people were there and it was well-lit. I felt safer doing that then walking around my large "college town" community at night.

Thanks for the encouragement and advice, guys. It is one of my favorite movies so I'll try to make it work. Maybe a matinee.

I'm seeing it this weekend! So excited! Ever After is my second favorite movie, and I have been waiting for this show since it was announced 10 years ago!

I think they are referring to Can-Can from the fall.

The movie is not very good. Sadly, neither is the musical. Score has some nice things. Some clever lyrics pop up. Book, deadly. No laughs. Act I a bore. Nothing much happens. Act 2 a mess. A VERY long 2 1/2 hours. If any show should be a 90 minute, no-intermission one,  this is it.
