Thanks for the info!

I'll be in the city for one day on Wednesday, November 30. My plane lands in Laguardia at 8:00am so I'll do my best to get to the Richard Rogers by 10:00am. I'd be willing to wait all day. I have a budget of $200 and would pay the $40 for the SRO tickets. What are the chances that I would get tickets to that night's performance? If there is at least a decent chance, would that mean I would have to stay until a half hour until the performance?

Thanks!

Wednesday the 30th appears to be a one show day as opposed to two. As per the calendar on ticketmaster there will only be an 8pm show that day. To be honest like the others have said its hard to predict any pattern when it comes to how many seats will be released to the line any given day. 10 am seems like a good time to line up for an 8 pm show. Should give you a decent shot. Tickets are released right until the last moment ( I got mine at 1:58pm for the 2:00pm show on a Sat so you have to hang in there. Good Luck!

Hi everyone! My friend and I are planning to wait in the cancellation line for tickets for the Sunday 11/13 3pm show, which is Chris Jackson's last show. We're thinking of just waiting for SRO tickets since we don't really have the budget for the $200 tickets, but if anyone is interested, we'd be happy to purchase 2 tickets each and secure a pair for someone else, as long as you're willing to help us pay for our tickets also. PM me if you are interested! :)

I've seen a lot of recent posts on Fri-Sun, but nothing recent for mid-week.   I'll be there next week and wondering how early I have to be there to be first in line. =)

Looking forward to the experience!   Rise Up!

What time do you think I should be there for a Friday night? Willing to show up whenever.

Where have you been?  Did you ever get to see the show before Lin left when the board here got crazy!

If anyone has any updates on this weekend's line, please let us know! I did the line on Wednesday and they only gave out five tickets. +5 standing room tickets. I know that next weekend is going to be crazy with Anthony and Christopher leaving, but would still love to know what it was like this Saturday and Sunday if anybody has any information in a few days. :) thanks in advance!

I thought Jackson leaves the 13th and then Ramos leaves the following weekend on the 20th?

Yes, that's exactly right. I think that means the next 2 weekends could mean longer cancellation lines.

I was line sitting today and here's how my experience went: https://www.reddit.com/r/hamiltonmusical/comments/5b9k5i/doing_the_cancellation_line_today/

Three standard tickets at 12:50 PM (about) and then 10 or so SRO right as the show was about to start. If anyone needs a line sitter PM me!

A huge thank you for this forum and everyone that posts to it! There is definitely sage and useful advice here, which I was able to put to good use this past Wednesday, 11/2/16. I arrived at 6am and was 4th in line. I got my ticket at 6pm. From what I've read here, that is definitely not the norm (about 1-1/2 or more hours earlier than usual?), but was very welcome. Being in line was a great experience. The best was when I could respond to what someone said with a line from the show and they would get it! #obsessed The show was even more than what I expected. So phenomenal!!

I was wondering the same thing. I was hoping to go on Thursday at around 10:30 but is that too late/too early for only an evening performance?

Hi all!!

This is well in advance but I'm in town between 26th Dec - 6th Jan from Melbourne Australia. I'm planning to set aside a day to queue up in the last week of December. Couple of queries: If I queue up for an evening show when there is a matinee before it, what time should I turn up? Would that be 2pm? Or do they only allow you to queue up once the matinee is over?

Also, I'm considering the New Years eve matinee performance at 2pm. Is that nuts? I have to make my way to Brooklyn after but I figured it would be early enough that the city isn't too manic yet. Tho I could be wrong!

Any advice is appreciated! :)

cheers. Jo

If anyone has any info on today's line, would you please let us know? I'm in the city today and would love to do the line later this afternoon but not sure if election day is going to mean a longer line or shorter one? Thanks in advance!

Anyone know how crazy the line usually is for the Wednesday matinee show? I'd like to give it a shot tomorrow but probably can't make it to the theater before 9:30am at least. Worth trying?

Your rampant speculation is welcome. Thanks!

I'd go see.  If there are more than 10-12 people in line by 9:30 I wouldn't bother as that's likely the max number of availables.  But you never know.

So I just checked with a line sitting company and they are claiming that if I want 2 tickets, they would need to purchase 4 tickets because the theater isn't allowing swapping. I know that's technically a policy of the theater... are they enforcing that? Have people had success swapping out?

When I swapped before they didn't say anything, you could also join the linesitter and go inside the box office as his +1, they don't enforce it.

Hi guys, I know this is a long shot but I thought I would try anyway. I am a high school student and have done the line 6 times now. I went last sunday and I couldn't belive it was my last time seeing christopher jackson. I cant imagine seeing him sing one last time for the last time but unfortunatly do not have the funds to go again. Would anyone be willing to pay for my ticket if I wait for them. I am willing to get there EXTREMELY early. Besides the time I went when the OBC was leaving I have been first everytime. DM me if you want to try to work something out. I can pay for a portion of my ticket if need be. Thanks!!

I checked it out today around 2:00pm, there were around 8-10 people there, I was expecting more but it was chilly.
