Hello all, I'm seeing the first preview of Something Rotten, and was wondering the likelihood of being able to get a window card that early. I noticed that On the Twentieth Century has had them available already and that's still in previews.

"Grease," the fourth revival of the season, is the worst show in the history of theater and represents an unparalleled assault on Western civilization and its values. - Michael Reidel

I used to go to first previews all the time and they more often than not had them ready. I regret not buying the Grey Gardens one at the second preview. It was being sold for only $10. But I haven't been to any first previews in a while. Only thing to do is go there and find out, or also try calling Triton Gallery a few days before or the morning of any ask if they have them. They are on 9th Ave close to Times Square and close at 6PM. Also, from my experiences usually stay later than that. Good luck!

In my experience, merchandise is usually available for purchase during previews at the theater. Sometimes it takes a while for them to become available online via the Broadway Store or Playbill Store. Previews simply mean that the press is not allowed to review it and creative and technological changes can be made to the show. It shouldn't effect the merchandise that is sold at the concessions.

"Mostly, I loved the size of these people's emotions. Nobody has emotions this size anymore. Outsized emotions. Operatic emotions. Kushemski and Vanda are like Tristan and Isolde, they're Paolo and Francesca. Nobody's in total thrall like this anymore. Nobody's overcome by passion like this, or goes through this kind of rage."
