I wish I had. I saw Rebecca Luker's last performance, and just wasn't thrilled with this production to go again.

I remember reading a Times review of the show after Ms. Benanti had taken over the role of Maria. It stated that the younger actress had brought more enthusiasm to the role and all but came out and said that she had improved the show.

At the time I felt sorry for Rebecca Luker having to read that. When I first saw her in Show Boat I thought that her Broadway career would be greater than it turned out.

Missy B was more age approriate but it made the difference in ages between her and co-star creepy.

Rebecca has a beautiful voice but it was better with Laura.
Personally Meg Tolin on tour was my favorite with that revival.
