It is a very interesting article. There was one part where I went "did she really say that?" It would have been better if she had phrased her disappointment (at not getting a particular role in Atlanta) a bit more diplomatically. She is a talented person and hopefully she finds the roles she's looking for.

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

I hope she does the Beautiful tour, she'd be great at that part!

I'm sorry but holy hell, talk about your sour grapes.

I do think that her Evita comment was pretty awkward. She obviously still feels a bit frosty about it.

I was thinking the same thing. I gather that there's a "regional theatre grapevine." This type of talk will certainly get around, if it hasn't already. That kind of a comment is certainly not to her future benefit.

She wouldn't be the first to play both Glinda and elphaba, Louise Dearman already did.

Well with that attitude, no wonder she didn't get the Evita gig.
