Teacher: Zachary Ryan (Musical Director for Sistas: The Musical Off-Broadway)
Skills covered: Finding intervals (2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc) Blending Listening to orchestrations to find notes Sight singing (basic) Music Reading (basic)
This class will teach you how to find different intervals, find your harmony in a song, learn to sing with others without covering one ear, etc. It's also a great workshop for reading music and sight-reading skills as we will be learning a song (in full harmony) during the course of the class. The cost of this class is only $100 for three hours. Space IS limited, so if you'd like to attend, please email me ASAP.
Zachary Ryan is the current Musical Director for Sistas: The Musical. He also is employed at Pace University, and teaches privately as well as for A Class Act NY (NYC's award-winning theater classes for kids and teens). He has over 16 years experience Music Directing and teaching. He also plays for agencies such as Telsey + Co, Cindy Tolan, etc.
