Study Musical Theatre in Italy this Summer!

The Musical Theatre workshop offers ages 13 and up the opportunity to perform or work backstage in a Broadway Musical and to mentor younger Italian cast members. The workshop will be lead by New York and Los Angeles industry professionals. All artists and craftsmen related to producing musical theatre such as musicians, make up artists and technicians, are invited to participate, as well. Moreover, it allows participants the chance to perform in another country, which gives great exposure and the occasion to work with another culture, which is a rare and precious opportunity.

RSI will be offering a special two week long workshop in musical theatre in Bedonia, Italy. The workshop will include vocal technique, dance, stagecraft, and acting. The workshop sessions will begin at 9:00 am and will finish at 6:00 pm on each day including an hour lunch break. No previous performance experience is necessary. This amazing and inspiring summer musical theatre program is designed to encourage each participant’s self-esteem and to foster self-discipline, arts appreciation, critical thinking, and the making of lifelong friends in the arts. Outstanding and compassionate professionals with extraordinary artistic accomplishments will direct the workshop. Our instructors will provide all students with chances for artistic exploration, self-expression, and education by exposing them to all different components of musical theatre. All classes and performances will be taught and performed in English. A Broadway musical will be staged on the second Thursday and Friday evenings to showcase the two-week work, and the local community is invited to attend these special Broadway style performances.
After the performance there will be a final cast party for all participants to celebrate the show with their fellow cast and crew members.
