After many months of work recording, orchestrating, mixing, etc. we are finally able to share this song from the score of the musical SHADOW ON THE SUN (music by Omri Lahav, Book & Lyrics by Jimmy Granstrom & me).
The show tells the dual story of drug addicted and emotionally tormented science fiction novelist Jake Temple and the novel he's trying to write. The novel is set in a world where there is a shadow on the sun and people live in perpetual darkness.
The song BREATHES LIKE THE CHILL OF THE NIGHT is the opening number in Act 2, when Jake narrates the latest chapter from the novel and the characters in the novel "come alive" and sing. We were blessed with an amazing vocal cast for the recording -
