Anyone plan on seeing this? From the photos and rehearsal footage I've seen, it looks like it'll be gorgeous. Vanessa Hudgens looks like she's having fun working towards a Broadway debut. Hope she does well.

I'm seeing it when it opens on Broadway. I can't wait. I like how they incorporated some iconic images from the 1958 MGM film into the show's artwork. Particularly the one with "Gigi" and "Gaston" in the center which was copied from a famous publicity still used to promote the film.

And of course the winking sketch of Vanessa Hudgens in the title role is a homage to the original winking sketch of Leslie Caron used for the original film's poster artwork, right down to the crescent moon adornment on top of her head.

Posted: 1/6/15 at 2:14pmThe producers of the show seem to be making it clear they don't really trust the material, which I think is never a good omen for a hit show. It will be very interesting to hear more about what happens once this has an audience to play to.

If the producers decided to switch it up to something similar to the poster art for the film's re-release I wouldn't mind...I love the artwork.
