The American Shakespeare Center Theatre Camp is now accepting applications for our Summer 2015 sessions, including:

Session I, June 21-July 12, 2015: The Merry Wives of Windsor, Henry V, Cymbeline
Session II, July 19-August 9, 2015: Coriolanus, Julius Caesar, The Two Gentlemen of Verona

Age range: 13-18 years

Admission requirements and deadlines: Apply online at www.AmericanShakespeareCenter.com. We accept applications on a first-come, first-served basis.

Credit: Campers may enroll in the ASCTC College Credit Program and earn 3 undergraduate credits to transfer to their college or university. Additional fees apply.

The American Shakespeare Center Theatre Camp is an intensive summer training program for students aged 13-18 that enhances campers’ theatre performance talents and develops essential college and career-building skills. In a nurturing and collaborative environment, campers participate in master classes and rehearsals and attend performances at the Blackfriars Playhouse, the world’s only re-creation of Shakespeare’s indoor theatre. Students rehearse a play by Shakespeare to be performed on the final day of each session at the Blackfriars Playhouse. Campers’ work in rehearsals and classes evolves directly from the tools and conditions that Shakespeare’s company would have used, from universal lighting and doubling to live music and cross-gender casting.
