Did anyone else watch this?

To think we invested 10 weeks of watching this for that ending. What a letdown. It leaves it all up in the air . No idea if the British series it was based on was any better.

Gracepoint? You mean Broadchurch? It's literally the same exact series, same lead actor. I was baffled by their choice to bring this to the states, rename it, and give us the same exact show. The ratings were poor, and it will not go forward.

Wait. They followed the exact same plot? God, how stupid. Roxy - the British one was very good - much better than your average PBS import of a Brit mystery. However, if Gracepoint followed the original's plot that closely, there's probably no point in going back to see the Brit version.

The ending was a big letdown

The story moved at a glacial pace interrupted by 5000 commercials. The payoff was feh.

It was 99.9% identical to the Broadchurch ending. Everything was essentially the same despite the creators saying they were totally different. FAIL.

Saves me the trouble of renting it from Netflix

I loved Broadchurch but only lasted through the first episode of Gracepoint. I hate that Hollywood feel the need to re-film things for Americans instead of just bringing over the superior British originals.
