Douglas Sills, the Tony-nominated star of 'The Scarlet Pimpernel,' will be the special guest at 'Seth's Broadway Chatterbox' on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 5 p.m. at Don't Tell Mama, 343 W. 46th St., NYC. Cover, $10, which goes to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Two-drink minimum. [phone].

Sills soon will be seen in the York Theatre's Mufti revival of Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens' 'My Favorite Year' (Dec. 5-7), playing Alan Swann (the Peter O'Toole role in the movie). Plus, he'll star in 'Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol,' a Dec. 15 Actors Fund benefit concert, at John Jay College.

I remember his very Swann-like Oscar Jaffe in the Actors Fund performance of ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY some years ago. He was absolutely perfect.
