Its out now on iTunes! It seems like they released it one day earlier. I'm so happy I didn't have to wait till tomorrow. If it hadn't come out, I still would have waited but my anticipation was so high I'm so happy it came out today!

But the three leads are just not my favorite vocalists.O'Malley sounds rough on her solo "Anywhere But Here." I just feel like there are a 100 other girls in NYC who could sing the crap out of that song. But maybe it's better in performance. Not my favorite score to date.

Posted: 11/18/14 at 1:06pmI enjoyed the album in the whole, but the supporting performances were more interesting to me than the leads. And I agree with the people here; I don't know Brynn O'Malley or her work but I'm used to JRB musicals having ladies belting their faces off and her face was firmly on by the end. She was underwhelming, though I found her charming. The two lead men I felt basically the same about. I love Nancy Opel though!

On one hand I like that they have preserved a full overture reminiscent of the classics but at the same time I don't really find the score appealing enough to merit a full 4 and a half minute overture. It's a little pretentious.

If only JRB realized earlier that his score was unappealing, he could have axed it. Oh well, live and learn...
