Loved Bat Boy when I saw it at the Shaftesbury but always thought it was better suited to a Fringe space. I think the Southwark Playhouse will be a perfect fit.
It's produced by Paul Taylor-Mills (Altar Boyz, In The Heights, Bare) so I'm anticipating a fantastic production. Looking forward to hearing more casting news.

But Lauren Ward was fantastic as Miss Honey in Matilda, she doesn't need to do this, which makes it more appealing so she is not in it for the money, being married to the eminent director Mattew Warchus.
Matthew White is a veteran performer and director. His West End acting credits include Ragtime, Phantom, Les Mis and Kiss Of The Spider Woman. As a director, his credits include Top Hat, Sweet Charity and Little Shop Of Horrors.
