What do you think will happen to Here Lies Love after it closes Off-Broadway? Will it be re-tooled to fit a Broadway theater? Will it be licensed out for regional theaters to put it on?

It's going on tour. The first stop is in San Francisco this coming spring.

still one of my favorite plays I've ever seen when it was mounted at The Public.

I'm guessing this is going to be re-conceived for a proscenium given that the Geary is a regular theatre?

Or maybe they're going to re-imagine the Geary space a la Great Comet at A.R.T.? Either direction will be fascinating. I'm grateful to have seen this at the Public, but I'm glad to hear it's getting a new chance to reach a broader audience.
