Ann Gilbert was the wife of Tony-winning producer, Stuart Ostrow (1776, Pippin, Chicago, La Bete, M. Butterfly). She was also vocal coach to me and many others in Houston (and on BWW). Studying under her and Stuart in the Musical Theater Lab of the University of Houston was one of the great highlights of my life and her passing in 2012 was a real blow to all the students lucky enough to have been mentored by her. This video is a lovely reminder of the woman and her talent that inspired the lives of many.
