A Chorus Line Translation#1

Hello everybody, thank you for reading. I am a Spanish Translation student and I am doing my final degree project. I love music, and I am a profesional singer and keen on musicals.

For my project I wanted to make a translation into Spanish from the musical A Chorus Line, which I have no news of having been done in Spain (since a long time ago). I am interested in translating the whole script. But I haven't been able to find the script in English.

If you could help me and tell me where could I find it, or maybe if any super super fan of the musical can provide me a copy, I would be very grateful.

I wait for your answers! Thank you!

The script was published in hardbound by Applause Books (I think).

Try www.abebooks.com which is a used book site.

Also the Drama Book Shop on West 40th Street in New York may have new copies.

I looked up A Chorus Line on the abebooks.com site.

Right now there are 3 copies, all under US$5.00. However the shipping to Spain will be over 2 times that. Still the book will be less than the list price.

Be aware of copyright issues since the translation that was done in the 1970s-80s was done with the permission of the original production. The US production got royalties along with the original writers, Michael Bennett and the Spanish translator.
