The Hulls continue to teach ongoing classes and private lessons in Santa Monica and Santa Barbara. Dianne was discovered by Elia Kazan and uses Kazan techniques when guiding scene work. She acted for Kazan in film and on stage where he wrote a role for her. A full list of her acting credits may be viewed at IMDb.
Lorrie taught for Lee Strasberg for 12 years, and is the only faculty member asked by Lee to teach the course, "Understanding the Method." She taught for five years at the American Film Institute and is a former college professor. She is the author of the best selling book, "Strasberg's Method: A Practical Guide for Actors, Teachers and Directors" by S. Loraine Hull.
Longtime Actors Studio member, William Smithers, and Lorrie have produced 2 two hour DVDs: The Method and The Method II, Acting Techniques-Advanced.
Private Lessons Available as time permits. Fee $85.00 per hour. Enrollment fee varies for Wednesday night classes: $400.00 for six classes. Wednesday night classes meet from 7-10 P.M.
