Saw it last night. Mrs R wanted to see it so we got TDF tickets. Upstairs Row C Aisle . About 85% capacity upstairs

She enjoyed it and gave it a 9 out of 10. I no longer comment on shows or give them a review lest I be accused of being a shill. The funny thing was the David Rasche character had a few choice lines about the pomposity of theater in general and Broadway. These lines drew solid laughs and even some applause.

I also saw it last night and enjoyed it very much. We were in the sixth row in the orchestra, and I was surprised that the only one I sometimes had trouble hearing was Blythe Danner. All the other actors projected their voices just fine.

Liked it a lot-nothing earth shattering but excellent acting and writing about another dysfunctional family.....had same problem with hearing- may be due to director telling everyone to be natural. I think that Blythe could have been more grand damish, but her last scene was very moving. Recommend.

I saw The Country House today on a whim, having finished scouring the Broadway Flea Market by 12:30. I managed to get two student rush tickets for the third row in the mezzanine.

It's a good show, and the cast is quite good. My biggest issue with it is its wildly inconsistent tone, which may be a symptom of trying to handle too many plot points.

I have never seen Blythe Danner on stage before, so it was definitely worth seeing the performance just to see her. The role doesn't require too much heavily lifting on her part, but she gets handle a nice balance of humor and drama (particularly the final scene and her ending short monologue - the best part of the piece in my opinion).

In brief: I'm certainly glad I saw it, but I'm not sure if I would recommend if you couldn't get a cheap ticket.
