that just goes to show Bure shouldn't have come back. She can't handle the show when things get a little heated. Hopefully she has some LA projects lined up & will be missing a lot of shows soon.

I've enjoyed the shows this week with who's been at the table. Even Bure. Less Raven makes the show so much better. I wonder where Paula's been & how they decide who does the show if more than 5 of them are available. Whoopi & Joy are clearly #1 & #2, but after that??

Sunny will be returning on 9/24, I wonder if Candace will be leaving to film something around then? Poor Paula though, it might be true that they want to phase her and Raven out. I like Paula, and thought she did a nice job as the moderator a few times last season.

I was going to say the same ACL, I've enjoyed the show and chemistry watching it backstage and on TV. Raven being phased out I can see, Paula though I like her journalist approach to things.

Didn't Paula (ahem) not get renewed??  Could have sworn I saw an article a couple of months ago stating she screamed at management and stormed off when they told her.

Not that I miss her.  She used to do sports here in Chicago and she was great. We're all happy for her to get her big shot in NY on GMA.  But all her religious-y-bent conversation, plus too much (ahem, again) over-sharing about her and her husband's "ministry time"  in the bedroom and other conversational quirks made it cringe-worthy to watch her in this setting.

She did in fact get renewed, however the whispers Im hearing are you'll eventually see a role reversal. Sarah phased out of GMA completely and onto The View and vice versa for Paula.

GMA Weekend, including Paula, said farewell to Sara a couple weekends ago on air.

Paula was on today, as was Raven.

More importantly, Whoopi has been on the Friday live show both this week and last week...last season, she never did the Friday shows.  I hope this means we will be seeing both Whoopi and Joy every day! (maybe at least through November

I think the show does best when the views are completely different and honest. Sure, I might not agree with everyone, but that's what I like. I don't want to see 5 people who say what we think we want them to say. Ya know?

Bure said today she'll be gone for a month to film a movie. Hostin starts on Monday. Odds are we're likely going to see the same five of Whoopi-Hostin-Haines-Behar-Bila starting next week. I'm starting to believe that Faris & Raven are being slowly phased out.

I think that it's interesting that Bure magically has to leave,  during the peak of the general election. She seems reluctant to actually say, on air, that she's voting for Trump, but she clearly doesn't want to defend his daily antics. She brings almost nothing to the show. I'd rather see a conservative who can intelligently stand by her beliefs. Candace makes me miss Elizabeth, and that's saying a lot.

Nicole was absolutely fantastic, such an unfortunate firing. Candace is more tolerable this season and appears more invested, but she's far too cautious with her opinions.

It's funny they apparently fired Nicole for not being savvy enough with pop culture, then they fire Michelle Collins who is a pop culture junkie, lol.

Yeah, they're ignoring that. She seems in good spirits, so far. Maybe having an out lifted her out of the cranky Whoopi who we've come to know.

Nicole was one of the most intelligent and analytical  panelists that the show has ever seen. However, I think that her refusal to back extremists like Ted Cruz and Donald Trump did her in. Her lack of pop culture knowledge was endearing and frequently comic relief. The other women on the panel more than compensated for her pop culture inadequacy.  I'm saying this as a liberal, mainstream media often wants to paint conservative women with a broad brush. Perky Christian blondes, who constantly taut and hide behind religion,  fit more into the archetype that they're looking to fill.

I wouldn't be surprised if Whoopi's done after this season. As for Bure, she's slated to be back at the end of October, just in time for the election.

I hope that producers are noticing the nice vibes around  the Whoopi, Sunny, Joy, Sara, and Jedidiah combination. The ladies seem to be enjoying each other and having fun.

^Agreed.  I'm finding Sara to be pleasant but she doesn't usually have anything really significant to contribute.

Agreed about those 5 co-hosts. I also think those 5 will be the most frequent on the show. Bure will pop back in when she's done with her movie commitments. We all know Raven's useless. They should just make Paula the rotating co-host at this point whenever one of the above 5 are out.

Candace officially returns October 17th. I was happy to see Paula get two shows this past week. 

Im finding myself getting annoyed by Sunny this season, she's not impressing me as much as last season. 

Also, I've always maintained that while Sara is a very enjoyable personality she doesn't add much substance to the panel.

Raven is in school.  She talks about it all the time.  In the publicity last season in preparation for this season, she was touted as one of the "twice a week" people for this season, most likely for this reason.  She's probably had mid-terms or something, relax.
