""Throughout my 14 years working in television, I have never experienced a more positive and thoughtful atmosphere than FOX News Channel..." Send over Miss Candy. They even look alike.
Did you guys see Candace said this morning that she saw Bob Saget in Hand to God last night? I know Bob said on Andy Cohen's radio channel that he wasn't sure she'd see it because of the subject matter. I can only imagine her reaction to the show!!! She was cut off before she could share her thoughts, lol.
It was a very awkward moment this morning. Candace was clearly offended by the material (being the religious fanatic that she is), but she also wanted to support her friend Bob Saget. She would have just been better off not saying anything.
More firing rumors. Michelle and Raven could be fired for Sara Haines and Sunny Hostin. I think Sunny is great. Also, Michelle and Raven are doing 3 days a week so that Candace can be there everyday.

Raven for sure should go. She's in over her head. And, honestly, Whoopi should go. But Michelle is actually funny and interesting. They'd be stupid to have her go.

I agree about Sunny Hostin. Whether I fully agree with anything she says, she's articulate, smart, savvy and holds her own. More like Wallace, who I continue to miss. The show is consistently puerile these days, and it's startling how little Faris brings to the mix, other than TMI about her sex life with her dull husband, considering she's a journalist. She's always playing devil's advocate, but not in any stimulating way, just schooling the table in shallow ways ("Oh, now I think when Trump does that he's playing to a particular part of the population who isn't happy these days..." Brilliant analysis.)
What about that petition to fire Raven, as a "bad spokesperson for the African-American experience?" I'd say that's a fair statement, just remove "African-".

Don't most Catholics believe in evolution? It seemed that way when I was raised in the church.
So again, source?
Yet, that's not what you said.
“I believe in evolution, scientific inquiry, and global warming; I believe in free speech, whether politically correct or politically incorrect, and I am suspicious of using government to impose anybody's religious beliefs -including my own- on nonbelievers.”

Barack Obama In 2008: Bible's Account Of God Creating Earth 'Essentially True'
Brown: Senator, if one of your daughters asked you -- and maybe they already have -- “Daddy, did God really create the world in 6 days?,” what would you say?
Obama: I'm trying to remember if we've had this conversation. You know, what I've said to them is that I believe that God created the universe and that the six days in the Bible may not be six days as we understand it, it may not be 24-hour days, and that's what I believe. I know there's always a debate between those who read the Bible literally and those who don't, and that I think it's a legitimate debate within the Christian community of which I'm a part. My belief is that the story that the Bible tells about God creating this magnificent Earth on which we live -- that is essentially true, that is fundamentally true. Now, whether it happened exactly as we might understand it reading the text of the Bible. That, I don't presume to know.

The three religious leaders segment was probably among the best this fall, if predictably short. My favorite moment was the priest-Candy smackdown over the Daily News cover. But it was genuinely heartening. And sidebar: the priest certainly looked ready to jump the rabbi, not even waiting til they got in the green room.
Is anyone watching The View these days? I stopped after Rosie left, but I continue to follow them on Twitter. From the pics, vids, and gifs (eyeroll) that they tweet, it looks like Raven hasn't been on in weeks. Any clue what's up?
I have seen every episode since Rosie O'Donnell began her second stint.
Yes, both Raven Simone and Michelle Collins have been absent A LOT as of late. No clue what is up with Raven - she is barely mentioned at all. However, a couple of weeks ago, there was a rare episode where both Whoopi and Michelle were both on (and sitting next to each other) and Whoopi looked right into the camera and said something along the lines of "Michelle, we don't see you enough. ABC, you should have her on more often." So, it seems that ABC is dictating how often Michelle (and possibly Raven) are now allowed to be on the show.
Personally, I don't think Raven adds too much to the conversation, but I really do enjoy Michelle. It's too bad ABC doesn't seem to want to give her a chance. And I still miss Nicole Wallace - with all her political knowledge, it would have been smart of the producers to bring her back for this year. Although a Republican, she was very informed and I learned a lot from her.

I heard that Raven was off to shoot some eps of Blackish, but she's been gone for quite a while now. And I seem to only see Michelle on Tuesdays so she can give her Bachelor recap on GMA and The View. I'd be fine with both of them gone. Sarah Haines has been great when she's on. Too bad she'll be going on maternity leave soon.
I feel like you can see that Joy really dislikes Michelle when she's there. Like she feels threatened by her comedy. Whoopi is as insufferable as usual. Candice Cameron Bure only pipes with a religious slant. Paula's pretty boring. At lease Raven is absent though!
Sara Haines has been co-hosting a bunch lately and is pretty great. As is Sunny Hostin. But Whoopi HATES her.
