I still say Whoopi leaves after this season since her contract is up. Someone else from the new co-host batch will also leave or quit midseason. ABC scrambles again in the offseason to get a big name to replace Whoopi. Ratings drop to a new low for the 20th season and ABC is forced to cancel the show.

A Chorus Line played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013.

The only reason I would DVR this would be for Joy Behar. I'm glad she's back to kick some @ss. But the ship is going down...they're sure not paying these new "ladies' what Whoopi or Joy make...it's too much "self selfie listen to me" now. I see another "lifestyle" or cooking show coming soon.

I will be curious as to if they talk at all about the Kim Davis thing. Lets see how crazy that Candace Cameron is going to get. If the producers are smart they would want her and Joy to get into it. Or maybe they won't mention it at all .

I would assume that they DO want the Kim Davis conversation to happen and to make sure it does with ample time it'll get bumped till tomorrow. Side note, I don't think all Christians are pro-Kim Davis like you may think.

You might be right. But don't forget Candace had some infamous tweets when the whole Chick-Fil-A controversy was happening. Things like marriage is one man and one woman and all that stuff. Also.. don't forget who her brother is.

yeah, the show's on it's way out if this continues. No one seemed to care today despite it being the season premier. I did like Whoopi's comment about the mugs "Why aren't our faces on the mugs. I liked that"; to which Joy responds "In case they want to get rid of us midseason."

and not that it's been confirmed, but Whoopi's not doing the Friday shows. Paula Faris is only doing 4 shows/week & Bure will be missing a ton of shows due to taping "Fuller House" through November.

I just don't get why they dumped the whole idea of this show and stuffed it with faux celebs? It was suppose to be different views and different women - a lawyer, a comedian, a mom, a journalist - and now we've got washed-up celebs. It's just irritating. I don't get who the hell is making these decisions.

Watched the season premiere out of morbid curiosity. It was a mess on every level, including the direction and camera work. Still can't believe they axed Nicole for the likes of Paula, Candace and Raven... although Nicole should be celebrating.

watched again today to see if maybe there was any improvement. Joy's talking over EVERYBODY like it's her own show. Whoopi doesn't care, Raven's an idiot & Michelle & Paula can barely get a word in. And the camera angles are all over the place. I'm done. It'll be interesting to see what the show's ratings are as the season progresses.
