If anyone questions her mental health, you should have seen the paintings she showed at NWS years ago!
<-----I'M TOTES ROLLING MY EYES
I find it bizarre that her statement on Saturday about her health is a different statement then what was released on Friday.

Phyllis for the win. No argument.

Tag, the real reason she's leaving is that she was given creative control when she started in September. The ratings were tanking, and that control was taken away from her pretty quickly.
But the main reason is she doesn't want to work with Whoopi anymore. On Thursday's show, Rosie and Whoopi got into a disagreement about Brian Williams. Rosie called him a liar and Whoopi said "Well, I'm glad some of us are perfect". Rosie said "I'm not saying I'm perfect" and Whoopi sneered "I didn't mean YOU, girl!". Rosie was wounded and decided then and there to leave the show.

Love just hit the nail on the head. She didn't want the show to be so celebrity driven and it wasn't for a bit and then that changed and she didn't like it.
In regards to the age think, sure it sounds harsh but it's true.
Let me also add, that young lady they had on today, the plus sized model seems to be fun, energetic, young, and wouldn't cost a big paycheck.

Does the show have a young audience or are they just trying to get one? I would imagine the young share of a tv audience is working or in school during the 11-12 slot.

Efforts to attract younger women fail for the same reason ABC now only has one soap opera on the air. They aren't drawn to daytime television in anywhere close to the old numbers. Merely putting a younger woman on the panel might make the conversation more lively and more likely to (fairly) represent a broader swath of the population and its opinions, a good thing; but it's doubtful that it will pull ratings.
I think O'Donnell's decision not to talk about leaving only perpetuates the very drama she claims to eschew. To not speak on the air, and then take to YouTube only draws more attention, not less. If she wants to be straightforward and remove the focus from her departure, just make an announcement on-air and move on. Drama is as drama does.

The show is in free-fall, no sense of continuity, of a team in place, of a sustainable tune-in value. Not the first time, but maybe the most dire predicament since the Star Jones days. Maybe.

So is tomorrow the last one? I want to DVR it since I did that with Rosie's latest comeback and don't want to miss her latest quit.

She said earlier this week that Thursday is her last day. BUT they tape Friday's show on Thursday afternoon. So I'd imagine we'll see her on the Friday airing,
There is a show today, Michelle William and Stacy London will be at the table.
Side note, anyone notice the picture The View posted on Instagram of Rosie's final show and she commented, "Playing "nice" can be fun."

Only one moment referenced O'Donnell, when during the Anyone Can Sing segment (yawn) someone suggested singing "Let It Go." Whoopi let out a yell, "God, no! no!" and then winked knowingly at Nicole. Nicole grinned. We got it.

^Actually Rosie was still in the opening credits and during the show Whoopi plugged Rosie's comedy special that is airing on HBO tomorrow.

I actually deleted the season pass from my dvd last night. It was time. If anything good ever happens again I will just look it up online.

Yeah, they haven't had time to Brian William-ize her out of the credits, and I caught the plug. But I meant around the table.

Basically, she's all but implying that this is for the good of her mental health more than anything.
But no one's going to say, "I'm leaving the show because I like to be in charge, and say whatever I want and do whatever I want without repercussions because I'm the woman in charge and you can't say anything against me. And when someone challenges me and doesn't let me be right, I recoil in a corner and take everything personally because I'm not getting my way. So in order to not deal with my controlling neuroses, I quit."

I don't WANT to live in what they call "a certain way." In the first place I'd be no good at it and besides that I don't want to be identified with any one class of people. I want to live every whichway, among all kinds---and know them---and understand them---and love them---THAT's what I want! - Philip Barry (Holiday)

I guess it's a good thing they didn't fire Perez after all or they'd be rushing to hire 2 new co-hosts. I say O'Donnell's replacement is named within 6 weeks. A possible 5th host won't be brought in until the new season starts in September. Or they could just cancel the show.
A Chorus Line played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013.
ACL, I read an article recently that said they plan to take some time to find a new co-host "much like they did when finding one to fill the Regis spot."
It'll be interesting to see who they grab. With an election coming up I assume they'll prefer someone with a political background. I'm hearing of rumors of S.E. Cupp (back into consideration) along with Sam Ponder.
