Has anyone stood outside the stage door yet? If so is it extremely crowded? Do they have a side for people who went to see the show? Do most of the cast come out? Thanks!

When I went to the 2nd preview only Rupert and Micah came out and signed and took pictures. Everyone else went out a side door. But that might change after opening.

I have a feeling none of that will change much after opening.

I mean I know Nathan Lane never comes out the stage door for anything. I know Matthew Broderick usually came out for Nice Work. And for some reason some of those cast members strike me as the stage-dooring type, but obviously that's not anything to base it on.

Also I saw the 2nd preview, so they are still in pretty heavy rehearsal mode I imagine, which might make people less likely to sign.

I know Nathan did not sign for Addams Family, but for some reason I recall him signing for The Nance. I could be 100 percent wrong but for some reason it's in the back of my mind.

He didn't sign when I saw The Nance, and I seem to remember hearing from others that he usually didn't. But if you got lucky and caught him, all the better for you!

They are in early previews so it's likely that they are staying after shows to work on notes. It may change once the show opens. I know that both Nathan and Matthew signed stage door for the Odd Couple and Matthew signed consistently During Nice Work.

Nathan Lane did sign for The Nance but was usually out 2 minutes after curtain call. Very fast.

I knew I wasn't crazy! I'm guessing the best bet for a signed playbill is sending your own back to the theatre kindly asking if the rest of the cast would sign it. I hope tey start to come out though. I would love to get a picture with Megan when I go see it. I simply adore her.

Do you think I would be able to send a window card to the theatre?

When I saw The Nance, I made it over to the stagedoor right as Nathan Lane came out, so I quickly got my playbill out and got his autograph.

I sent a window card to Heathers and it worked out great. It's pricy but doable.

Just remember that Natty Lane is a Class-A Diva, so if you do catch him make sure not to bore him to tears with your "complements" and "questions".

I was across the street stagedoor-ing at Pippin on Saturday night and the crowd was pretty big at It's Only a Play. Rupert Grint and Micah Stock were the only people I saw come out. They both looked really nice- Rupert was signing and taking pictures with everyone. He spent a lot of time out there.

I remember during THE PRODUCERS, Matthew Broderick stayed until he had signed everyone's Playbill. Nathan Lane did not sign but they passed out pre-signed Playbills with his autograph on it.

I've heard things about Nathan being a Diva, but when I met him he was gracious, kind, and hysterical. I had brought a thick sharpie and he saw it and immediately said: "oh my what a very big sharpie you have" with a strong sexual innuendo. The entire crowd burst out laughing. The door manager had warned that he would not be posing for pictures, yet there was a foreign mother and daughter pair who spoke very little English and asked for a photo. He obliged but became hysterically annoyed when the mother could not figure out how to work the camera. It became a 45-second ordeal and he was giving the crowd the most entertaining pleas for help. He was very pleasant all around!

Nathan Lane signed after the first couple of previews for The Addams Family and he came out once in a while after Waiting for Godot. Megan Mullally signed after every performance of Young Frankenstein.

I've worked with Megan Mullally and Stockard Channing before (on separate occasions), and they are both very nice people who are usually gracious with fans. Perhaps they don't wish to engage with a stage door crowd as large as this one.
