Just thought I'd share this, not sure what kind of a fan base she has here. I would love to see her take on Sally but I doubt it'd happen. Sure do wish I could've seen her play the Emcee a few years back!

My beloved girl. :)

Missing that Boston production is one of my biggest theatrical regrets, right up there with missing Grey Gardens and not paying attention to The Great Comet before it closed.

Though I have to say I can't see her as Sally at all.

I leave the room smiling.

Amanda (from what I've seen) is an amazing Emcee and would really love to see her go in for the role after Alan leaves.

She was pretty amazing as the MC, I loved the production at the ART through and through. Very innovative use of the space (where they do the Donkey Show). It was directed by her HS drama teacher. (a friend of mine) I understand that was one of her requirements. (He has not directed for the ART since, but don't know if that's his choice or theirs.)

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I think she is very versatile but don't see her as a Sally . I think she'd be great in Threepenny Opera- Pirate Jenny was one of her set pieces. ( I don't think she does it much now)
