How anyone could ever treat their own child this way is beyond my comprehension. I hope he gets the emotional support he needs as well as the financial.

I turned the video off before it got going. Because, why is there video? And why would a character, sorry, real person say anything like "I have a lot of friends who are gay..,". The dialogue is unrealistic for a moment of violence.

I get a little weary of the victim-narratives too, Namo. And I have no idea why the young man was taping it all. But something about this rings true to me. Bad dialogue and all.

I had to turn it off. Absolutely heartbreaking.

Apparently, he came out to the stepmother and father back in October and recorded this because they decided they needed to have some kind of lifestyle intervention.
