What do you guys think would be the perfect upcoming show/role for him? He's back in the states!

Pippin. He may be a tiny bit too old but he doesn't look it. He was just playing 19 in the West End.

It would have been perfect for him had he not done armor on in London!

He actually workshopped Pippin. I'm sure if he returns it will be something original.

Whatever it is I hope it's soon. Maybe some shows at 54 Below in the mean time?

I'd love to see him take over for Bryce Pinkham in GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE, but I'm not sure if he'd be interested in replacing at this point in his career.

And I'll echo the request for some 54 Below shows!

I'm pretty sure he's going into Book of Mormon in January

He was already pushing it when I saw him on tour (he could play the mission president somewhere down the line), but I still enjoyed him quite a bit. I figured he might ride that Olivier train for a bit.

Hedwig was what I was hoping for, too. He would be great in the role.

I saw Creel in Mormon on the West End and he was superb. Hope he gets another role that showcases his marvelous voice and sharp sense of comedy.

He'll be in Ptown next week! I'm going to try to see him perform.

I love Gavin Creel, but I thought he was miscast in Book of Mormon. His voice was stunning, but he just wasn't funny. I didn't expect him to imitate Andrew Rannells, but his interpretation was just flat. Perhaps it changed over time. I saw him when the tour launched in Denver.

I don't think Elder Price necessarily has to be funny. I see him more as the "straight man" surrounded by over the top comidic characters which is a common comedic device and makes him sort of the odd man out which in itself is also funny. I have seen bits of Gavin's performance in the West End and thought he was plenty funny.

I would like more pop music from him - in the vein of the Quiet EP. His dancefloor album was a disappointment and sounded cheap - acoustic is the way to go, I think.

I'd also like if he established an MT concert career. I'd much rather hear Creel sing Tony/WSS than Cheyenne Jackson. I'd love to hear him sing the score of Promises, Promises.

Are you talking about Goodtimenation? I loved that album! There's still some standouts. "For Nancy" is great. I love "Rocket Ride" because it's dirty. I also still enjoy "Radio Lover," "Art of Heartbreak," and "You Pretty Thing." I don't think it was a disappointment although I guess it failed to produce any dance floor hits if that's what you mean. It never went mainstream but I like that about it too.

I've also heard he'll be headed to the Broadway company of BOM when Rouleau leaves.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I anxiously await the day Creel plays Bobby in COMPANY.

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.
