Does anyone have any insight on why they chose to put this random bit of audio smack dab in the middle of the CD release??

Not totally sure, but I do know that it was only included on the '93 reissue of the disk.

On the 1993 MCA CD release, in addition to three songs left off the original LP, they included a bizarre bit of Carol Burnett in between takes talking about how she was having trouble due to being too comfortable.

It's an oddity to say the least.

It's also in a really random location in the disk. I still own the '93 issue of the disk, but since "Quiet" and "Nightingale Lullaby" aren't really my favorites from the show, I just listen to the original LP.

Also, thank you Mr. Nowack for reminding me of this album. It's been far too long since I've listened to it and I had a lovely time playing it today.
